It’s important to me that you like my eyes.
What they see at your wedding pretty much determines what your photographs will be like so I want you to get on well with them!
Every photographer sees differently depending on where their inspirations lie, what they find interesting and attractive and what they deem worthy of making a photograph of, so you need to find a pair of eyes in your photographer, that are a good fit with your own.
I can’t always predict beforehand what my eyes are going to spend the day doing, but going on past behaviour they tend to like seeking out the playful, artistic, whimsical and surprising moments.
They love to catch natural, spontaneous events unfolding and are pretty keen, patient observers of people. It’s not unknown for them to wait patiently through 5 minutes of a long-winded joke, camera poised, just ready to note the eruptions of laughs and brilliant expressions on listeners’ faces that come with the punch line.
By weaving all these delightful moments together afterwards, I tell the story of your wedding so it is recorded for generations to come. Coming from a design background, I love good composition, great colour and relish creating a gorgeous album that is the perfect summary of your wedding day.
To check yours and my eyes’ compatibility, please have a look at some of the recent weddings I’ve been part of in my portfolio.
