A documentary wedding photographer based in Manchester, I started taking pictures on this special Mighty White camera. (Did you ever have one? Weren’t they great?)
I happen to think wedding days make the best photographs ever, with everyone excited and celebrating, and really special memories being made all over the place – a treasure trove for a photographer.
I love Shetland. It is a beautiful, wild, rugged place and I think I’ve left a little piece of my heart there. You know you can sometimes see the Northern Lights there? And swim in the sea? (Brave people can swim in the sea.)
I like maps and travel. I like going on adventures.
I drink a LOT of tea. It is my fuel – I may even have tea instead of blood by now.
The all-time best ever musician is certainly Stevie Wonder. Soul and gospel music will generally always make me happy, although I love all sorts from Bon Iver to Paolo Nutini.
